Non-Pancreatic Insulin Cells

It would be wildly good if stem cells could be created to interact with the body's sugar system, but not bear the carbohydrate markings of traditional pancreatic insulin cells. Stem cells have been coerced into making insulin.

By coating them with ?polyethylene glycol? which is sometimes taken to reduce constipation, the host will not reject them. Strange. I imagine donating your own stem cells would work flawlessly.
